Photorejuvenation

Discover our photorejuvenation treatment

Reduce pigmentation spots, redness, and skin imperfections with photorejuvenation. Photorejuvenation is a treatment using Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) to improve skin appearance and address various aging and sun damage-related skin concerns.

By applying heat, the treatment induces collagen fiber contraction, providing an immediate firming effect. Moreover, this heat stimulates fibroblasts in the lower dermis to encourage the production of new collagen and elastin fibers. With regular sessions, this promotes long-lasting skin rejuvenation.

Photrejuvenation offers an effective solution for achieving smoother and younger-looking skin using various thermal manipulation techniques on the dermal layer.

After a photorejuvenation session, pigmentation imperfections fade. Additionally, Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) technology diminishes dilated blood vessels and reduces the appearance of couperose veins.

How does a photorejuvenation treatment work?

During your first visit, you will be greeted for a consultation with an experienced medical aesthetic technician. Together, you will discuss your skin concerns, treatment steps, and evaluate your health status. Before proceeding with the first treatment, authorization from a member of the medical team is required to ensure your safety.

At the beginning of each treatment session, the Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) device is customized to suit your skin type. Then, the medical aesthetic technician will use the IPL device to emit pulses of intense pulsed light on the targeted areas. These pulses penetrate the skin, targeting unwanted pigments or dilated blood vessels, and stimulating collagen production.

After the photorejuvenation treatment, your skin may experience redness, followed by temporary darkening of spots before drying and naturally exfoliating. It is highly recommended to apply sunscreen to protect your skin post-treatment.

How much does a photorejuvenation treatment cost?

For a more precise estimate of the cost of your personalized treatment, we recommend you make an appointment for a complimentary and obligation-free evaluation with a Medicart specialist. We believe that each person is unique and has specific requirements. This is why we customize our treatment plans.

Client benefit

During my daughter's wedding, the makeup artist pointed out how radiant my complexion was and how my skin texture was glowing, even though my skin was the most mature among those being made up. Thanks to photorejuvenation!
