This is supplemented by Medicart’s own beauty product line that will be available in all its clinics.

Éric Phaneuf has been part of the Walter Capital Partners team since its founding in 2015. In his role as Managing Partner, he has demonstrated his ability to work in partnership with portfolio companies to drive their growth. His contribution to the development and implementation of the firm’s investment strategy has resulted in the creation of a $200-million-fund—$100 million of which is already invested in high-quality assets. He has also been a key player in creating an ecosystem that allows companies to benefit from the Walter Group’s extensive entrepreneurial experience and the support of seasoned executives. Mr. Phaneuf was instrumental in the development and implementation of the strategy that led Walter Capital Partners to its current success. Mr. Phaneuf is the kind of leader who is a valued partner with a focus on sustainability in supporting the growth of companies. Prior to joining Walter Capital Partners, Mr. Phaneuf held senior management positions which are testimony to significant achievements in North American publicly traded companies with a strong international market presence including Cascades, MediaGrif, and Megabrands. A graduate of Université de Sherbrooke in business administration with a major in finance, Mr. Phaneuf is also a chartered financial analyst holding the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. Mr. Phaneuf sits on the boards of directors of several private and public companies in addition to serving on the board of Fondation Montréal Inc., a non-profit organization whose mission is to support the development of entrepreneurs in the Greater Montreal Region.


Pierre Montminy is an entrepreneur who acquired Epiderma in January 2003 after having held, over a period of more than 20 years, numerous senior management positions in a large company. Convinced of the potential of the health and beauty industry, the businessman began his approach by consolidating the company’s human resources before laying the foundations of a business plan based on sound management, training and state-of-the-art equipment as well as on the quality of client service. Under his leadership, Epiderma has become the leading company in medical aesthetic treatments with a network of 30 clinics and a workforce of over 150 employees serving over 350,000 clients. With his perseverance, he has succeeded in building a strong brand name that is backed by expertise and uniqueness. With the creation of Medicart, Pierre Montminy intends to offer his clients more services in conjunction with the current network while also delivering professional and accessible treatments which meet the most stringent standards in the industry to consumers.


Dr. Michèle Ohayon studied medicine at Université de Montréal and subsequently specialized in dermatology at McGill University. Dr. Ohayon is a recognized expert in aesthetic dermatology and is involved, among other things, as a trainer for Quebec physicians who wish to improve their skills in this field. After having headed the dermatology departments of Hôpital du Sacré-Cœur de Montréal and Hôpital Anna-Laberge in the Montérégie region, Dr. Ohayon has been working for several years at the Clinique de dermatologie esthétique de Montréal (which has now become Medicart dermatologie esthétique), specializing in rejuvenation techniques. An experienced dermatologist and excellent communicator, Dr. Michèle Ohayon shares her knowledge and expertise with various audiences as a keynote speaker or contributor, including on the French TV show, Quel âge me donnez-vous ? which was broadcast on Canal Vie. She is the only Canadian physician to have received private training directly from the famous Brazilian plastic surgeon, Dr. Mauricio de Maio who developed the innovative MD CodesTM used to guide the use of injectables. Dr. Ohayon is an MD CodesTM trainer in Quebec. She specializes in facial rejuvenation using injectable agents to give a natural look that is in harmony with the structure of the patient’s face.
