Dr. Hugo Lamontagne

After obtaining his degree in family medicine in 2005, Dr. Hugo Lamontagne continued his training by completing the advanced competence program in emergency medicine. He started with a mixed practice including intensive care, and later focused exclusively on the emergency department. Throughout his career, he developed a keen interest in targeted ultrasound. Convinced that this technology significantly improves decision-making and patient care, he shared his knowledge by teaching various applications of this technique to his peers. This interest naturally led him towards phlebology, where he could leverage all of his skills. Given that venous disease is a prevalent and debilitating issue, he finds it rewarding to have a positive impact on the health, aesthetics, and well-being of his patients.
