Dr. Richard Danylewick
Dr. Richard Danylewick, a board-certified vascular surgeon, earned his medical degree from the University of Sherbrooke and completed a residency at McGill University. He pursued vascular surgery training at the University of Montreal and has worked in several hospitals in Montreal.
In 1998, he completed a preceptorship in venous diseases at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Since the 2000s, he has been using ultrasound vein mapping and, since 2006, endovenous laser therapy to treat varicose veins.
Dr. Danylewick is certified by the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine and is a member of several professional associations, including the American Venous and Lymphatic Society, the American Venous Forum, and the Canadian Society of Phlebology. As a clinical lecturer at McGill University, he frequently presents at medical conferences.
