Endovenous Laser Treatment: The Modern Solution for Saphenous Vein Varicose Veins
The saphenous veins, located just beneath the skin surface, play a crucial role in returning blood to the heart. However, when they dilate due to poor blood circulation, they become visible and give rise to varicose veins. These enlarged veins can cause uncomfortable symptoms such as pain, heaviness, and swelling in the legs.
Fortunately, modern treatments like endovenous laser therapy provide an effective solution for treating these veins and restoring the health of your legs. This cutting-edge treatment uses a precise laser beam to target the saphenous veins responsible for blood reflux. By heating the vein wall, the laser gradually closes it, allowing the vein to be absorbed while restoring normal blood circulation. This non-invasive procedure effectively treats varicose veins and promotes rapid recovery, leaving you with lighter legs and improved circulation.
Don’t let varicose veins impact your daily comfort. Contact us today to schedule a consultation and learn how endovenous laser treatment can improve your circulation and restore the health of your legs!

How Does Endovenous Laser Treatment Work?
First, an initial consultation is conducted to assess your health, discuss your symptoms, and review your medical history.
The varicose vein treatment begins with an ultrasound to map the anatomy of the patient’s veins. Once the targeted area is identified, the leg is disinfected and draped to ensure a sterile environment. Light sedation and local anesthesia are then administered for the patient’s comfort.
Under ultrasound guidance, the saphenous vein is accessed, and a laser fiber is inserted and advanced along its length. Once in place, the laser is activated and slowly withdrawn, releasing heat that seals the vein and redirects blood flow to healthier veins nearby. Surface varicose veins are then treated using small access catheters and sclerotherapy injections.
To aid in healing, a compression stocking is placed before the patient leaves the clinic, typically without pain and with the possibility of quickly resuming normal activities.
