ProFractional® laser treatment

The ProFractional® laser procedure aims to dramatically improve the skin’s appearance. It is used to treat wrinkles, post-traumatic scars, acne scars, aging and sun-damaged skin.

In Profractional mode

This technology uses the Erbium laser’s energy to make thousands of microscopic perforations into the skin, while leaving the surrounding skin intact. The surrounding areas of untreated skin stimulate the body’s natural healing process. This results in a plumping up and smoothing out of wrinkles, lines, scars and other imperfections.

The treatment necessitates 3 to 6 sessions at a 4-week interval. After each session, redness will appear along with a sensation of sunburn lasting between 24 and 72 hours. Makeup can be applied on the treated area 24 hours following treatment.

MicroLaserPeel mode

The MicroLaserPeel is an intra-dermal laser peel that removes outer layers of the skin (20-50 microns). Stronger than a chemical peel, its intensity lies halfway between microdermabrasion (7 microns) and a full skin resurfacing (50 microns or more). It is performed with a topical anaesthetic. Healing takes 3-4 days or more (depending on the number of microns), which is why this procedure is also known as a “weekend skin peel”. This treatment can be repeated 2 to 4 times, with a 6 to 8 weeks interval.

Resurfacing mode

In Resurfacing Mode, the ablation of the skin is deeper, the benefits are more visible and the healing period is usually longer.
