VelaShape III uses several different technologies:

• suction raises the tissue and brings it closer to the source of energy;

How does VelaShape III™ work?

Velashape III technology combines several different techniques which, taken together, yield the best results:

• infrared light therapy;
• suction;
• radio waves;
• mechanical, deep-tissue massage (palpation-roll).

Infrared light energy sends heat into the deep layers of the skin while the suction system, located between the rollers, causes the radio waves to penetrate into the fatty tissue. The rollers massage and break up the cellulite (in synergy with the radio waves), activating the metabolism and circulation in order to move and disperse the fat cells, so that they are no longer accumulated in unwanted areas.

During the treatment, the practitioner sweeps the device over the area to be treated, pausing approximately every 5 seconds to target each different zone. The device will be swept over the same area several times in order to ensure that the skin reaches the right temperature (approximately 40º Celsius, and while this is quite hot, it’s tolerable), monitored using an infrared thermometer.

How soon after a VelaShape III treatment will I begin to notice the effects? You will notice a gradual improvement in the treated area. The skin will be tighter and smoother. After some time, you will see that the circumference of the treated area will be smaller. The cellulite will have faded. The best results will be achieved only after approximately 10 weeks. Three to five sessions are recommended.
