Dr. Jason Leclair

Dr. Jason Leclair obtained his medical degree in 2008 and completed his family medicine training in 2010 at the University of Ottawa. He was trained by Dr. Lucie Beaupré and has been practicing phlebology with her since 2011. Dr. Leclair is a pratitioner who performs ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy, advanced VenaSeal treatments, and conducts research on evidence-based sclerotherapy practices. He is now the Medical Director of Medicart Ottawa: Vein & Aesthetic Clinic. When he is not at the phlebology clinic, he practices family medicine in Ottawa and works as a hospitalist at the Ottawa Civic Hospital. Dr. Leclair is the Director of Education Services in Family Medicine at the Ottawa Hospital – Civic Campus and an adjunct professor at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Ottawa. He is also a Fellow of the Canadian Society of Phlebology. He prioritizes the safety and well-being of his patients while managing the day-to-day medical operations of the clinic.
