How does a Venus Viva™ treatment work?
The procedure usually takes about 15 to 30 minutes and a numbing cream may be applied. Redness may occur immediately after the treatment.
The redness varies depending on the level of ablation that is required to achieve your goals, after being advised by the physician. The skin will go back to its regular appearance within 1 to 3 days, although the collagen renewal process will continue over the following weeks.
No makeup should be applied for three days following the treatment, however, we suggest the application of a post-treatment repair cream and the use of sunscreen in the days following the treatment.
Typically, 4 treatment sessions scheduled 2-4 weeks apart are all it takes for the best results.
The full benefit of the treatment shows 3 months after the 4th session. To maintain long-term results, we recommend a maintenance treatment every 6 months.
