Say Goodbye to Droopy Eyelids and Bags Under the Eyes

The sagging skin of the eyelids and the appearance of bags can affect your self-confidence. Blepharoplasty is a surgical procedure intended for those who wish to regain a younger and more rested look. This procedure treats droopy eyelids, removes fat bags, and eliminates excess skin that can impair vision, rejuvenating the appearance of the eyes.

Blepharoplasty is aimed at those looking to correct the lower eyelids, upper eyelids, or both. This procedure mainly comes in two types: upper blepharoplasty, which addresses droopy eyelids by removing fat deposits and excess skin, and lower blepharoplasty, which targets bags and excess fat under the eyes.

The results of blepharoplasty can last for several years. Don’t let aging hold you back; treat yourself to the bright look you deserve!

How is an eyelid surgery treatment performed?

The blepharoplasty treatment begins with a consultation with a physician, during which your goals are discussed and the most appropriate type of procedure is determined.

For the lower eyelid, a small incision is made either under the eyelashes or on the inside of the eyelid to remove the bags and excess skin. For the upper eyelid, a discreet incision is made in the natural fold of the skin. It is common to remove or reposition some fat to enhance the contour of the eyelid.

The procedure is performed under local or general anesthesia and is generally minimally painful. After the surgery, patients can go home. There may be swelling and bruising around the eyes, and the recovery time is about one week, with a return to moderate physical activity after two weeks and a gradual resumption of more intense activities.

Medicart does not practice medicine. Only members of the College of Physicians are authorized to perform medical acts reserved by law.

How much does eyelid surgery cost?

Prices vary depending on the treatment plan established by the physician. To obtain an accurate estimate of the treatment cost tailored to your needs, it is recommended to meet with an expert from Medicart during a free, no-obligation assessment. We understand that each person is unique and has specific needs, which is why we customize our treatment plans.

I envision a world where self-esteem and self-assertion are accessible to everyone. A place where individuals are free to be true to themselves and proud of who they are, without any shame, regardless of their appearance choices.
