Platelet-rich plasma (PRP)

What is PRP? It consists of pure plasma-rich platelets with concentrated platelets and an optimal cellular content. Platelets are associated with several growth factors, which promote tissue reconstruction by stimulating the production of new collagen and blood vessels, resulting in smoother and healthier-looking skin.

Your own blood is used in the PRP treatment. After the blood is collected, the tube is placed in a centrifuge and spun to isolate the plasma-rich platelets. The undesirable red and white blood cells are then extracted out and stored in a separation gel. No foreign material is used during this treatment, which practically eliminate the occurrence of any adverse events.

How many PRP treatments are necessary for hair loss? Four treatments are recommended for women and three treatments for men. In both cases, one treatment is administered per month.
